4 Most Underrated Video Game Franchise Of All Time
Sometimes a game does not get appreciation or fan support simply put the game does not get what it deserves. This usually happens to a game when it is released between a big launch or the marketing is done poorly. A Big recent example is Titanfall 2 which received a critical acclaim but sales were poor due to bad launch date and it all happened because it was released between the launch of Infinite Warfare and Battlefield 1. Today we are not talking about just a single game. We are talking about Franchises. Sometimes a whole franchise can be ignored…
We will pick the best game from the franchise.
SYPHON FILTER – LOGAN’S SHADOW
Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow neither looks nor plays like your typical “handheld” game, and it seriously pushes the limits of what the PSP and portable games in general can achieve. Hell, you’re lucky to find a console game so well put together overall. – Gaming Age
This well-rounded, gorgeous game delivers on all fronts with scarcely a problem in sight. With superb and precise controls, Logan’s Shadow provides gamers with an intriguing story, a variety of environments and all the tactical gunplay they can handle. – GameDaily
Once again, it’s apparent that Syphon Filter and the PSP were made for each other. While the game isn’t without its issues, it’s still a solid action title that actually feels at home on the handheld. Action fans with a PSP should consider this a must-have. – Digital Entertainment News
DARKSIDERS 2
Being a fan of almost every genre this game has smashed together into one has made it highly enjoyable, and the ending had me hoping that the next installment (should they choose to make it) gets in the development queue soon. – Gamers’ Temple
Darksiders 2 rises above the rest as a perfect example of what an action-adventure game should be, and if I had my way, Vigil Games would be making them all. – COGconnected
An exciting and lengthy adventure with interesting characters and a host of items and features that make its mix of combat and puzzle-solving very attractive. It’s better if you also played the original game, but even if you didn’t, Darksiders II is definitely worth looking at. – Giant Bomb
MERCENARIES 2
Occasional hiccups or no, having this much open-world freedom to come at the enemy any old way you see fit is just too much damned fun. – Game Revolution
Mercenaries 2 is absolutely fun in spite of its quirks and should be at the top of everyone’s must buy list. – GamingTrend
All considered though, Mercenaries 2 isn’t a complicated game to assess. It’s a stupid action game in a long and storied tradition of stupid action games. – Game Over Online
The arcade style shooting mixed in with the Hollywood blockbuster epicness delivers one of the more satisfying action games in recent years. If you’re a skeptic you should at least give Mercenaries 2 a shot. – Talk Xbox
YAKUZA 0
Yakuza 0 shows how unique Yakuza actually is. Drama and humor come together in a setting filled with violent street fights. We all know the concept, but Yakuza 0 takes it to perfection. – InsideGamer.nl
It’s a truly wonderful trick that Yakuza 0 plays, and rather than work out how it does it, just sit back and let this video gaming alchemy entertain you. – The Digital Fix
If you’re a fan of the series, you’re going to want to play this–Yakuza 0 encapsulates the zaniness of Japanese culture with spectacular side missions, and is aided by it’s own satisfying combat and recreational activities. – God is a Geek
